→ Optional Toppings

18 - 1 avocado, sliced
19 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - Stir in cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly and cook for 2 to 3 minutes to develop flavors. Remove from heat and set aside.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, and salt until smooth and well combined.
04 - Divide chopped lettuce among four bowls. Top each with seasoned ground beef, diced tomatoes, sliced radishes, and chopped cilantro.
05 - Drizzle each bowl with lime yogurt crema. Add avocado slices, shredded cheese, and lime wedges if desired.
06 - Serve immediately while components are at optimal temperature and texture.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's ready in 30 minutes, which means dinner happens before you're too tired to eat it.
  • The lime crema is genuinely addictive, tangy without being harsh, and it makes everything taste intentional.
  • You can prep components ahead and assemble bowls when people are actually hungry.
02 -
  • Don't skip draining excess fat from the beef, or the bowl will feel heavy instead of light and fresh.
  • The lime crema needs to be made just before serving or it gets thin and watery as the yogurt releases liquid.
03 -
  • Toast the spices in the hot oil for 30 seconds before adding the beef so they release their essential oils and taste deeper.
  • A squeeze of fresh lime over the whole bowl right before eating brightens everything and makes it taste like a restaurant version of itself.
